For those who may not know, for the past 2 years I have been President of the Mature Age Student Club at La Trobe Uni in Bendigo. MASC is an important club as we have many mature age students on campus. Last year MASC won the Club Development Award at the Bendigo Student Association Awards night. I was unable to attend the awards as I was on exchange with @appstateoied . This year I was not going to miss out! So, I am very proud to announce that MASC has won the Club Development Award for the second year in a row! We have worked hard to build a club for our members and it is great to be recognised for our work. Now, as an unexpected surprise, I am very honoured to announce that I was awarded Club Person of the Year. ♥️. This means the world to me as I do work hard for the club and it is gratifying to be recognised. I will be handing over the reigns next month and I know the club will be in good hands next year. MASC has been a major part of my uni experience, which I will never forget.
