It has been a while since my last post and much has happened since then.
I completed my study abroad program at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, leaving behind the cold and snow mid December.
I spent a night in San Francisco on the way home purely to eat sourdough from the Boudin Bakery. If you have not tried their sourdough bread you are missing out!
I was fortunate to score an upgrade using points to business class with Qantas making the long flight home very comfortable, unlike my flight over.
After 3 days at home it was time to take off again. This time the destination was Sydney to board a cruise on Ovation of the Seas around New Zealand for the holiday period.
More on all of this later in upcoming posts.
After returning home, I had a couple of days of rest before a week of appointments. One of my appointments happens to be in Melbourne, so I might as well make a night of it! I am back to my favourite hotel and on my own the ridiculous bathroom door isn’t an issue. A different river view this time with the ocean in the distance.
It feels good to be back in Melbourne, the city I plan on moving to when I graduate university at the end of this year.
Until then I have many stories to tell and follow up posts to write so stay tuned!
